We encourage you to come as you are. You will see anything from jeans, to suits to casual wear. We are not concerned about outer appearance as God looks at our hearts.
We welcome and love ALL children! We take an inclusive approach to partnering with parents on nurturing children as they grow their faith. We believe that in every child’s heart there is a desire to learn more about God and His Word. We want kids excited about learning about God. We also host various events across the year. In Youth Ministry, we strive to lead youth to become passionate followers of Christ. By partnering with parents we encourage youth to serve as children’s ministry helpers and leaders, participate in worship and performing arts activities. We are a multi-generational church where we do life together as a body.
Uplifting, spirit filled worship is what you will see at LWBF. We love to sing praises to our Lord and Savior. Worship is personal and unique to each of us. Worship how the Lord leads you.
Yes, our church uses small groups to gather together frequently. We meet at men, women, young adults, bible study, Sunday school, marriage ministry, etc.
We believe that God wants us to impact our communities in meeting basic needs such as food, clothing etc as well as being involved to make real change.
We have been serving for over 15 years at Faith Missions and have partnered with the MidOhio Foodbank to serve as a food distributor.
We have also hosted community health fairs with onsite blood pressure testing, medical screenings and offered free mammograms.
We also work with Columbus Public Schools within the radius of the church to provide onsite mentoring programs, tutoring, school supply donations and we host student community nights at the school, as well.
Our “Ask A Pastor” Virtual Series moderated by our pastor features community discussions to bring awareness and change to key issues. Topics include the Opioid crisis in urban communities, Local treatment services for addiction, and COVID’s impact on the faith community.
